How to Install XAMPP on Ubuntu (Linux)

Installing XAMPP on Ubuntu

Download XAMPP on www.apachefriends.org/download.html. Download the Linux version of XAMPP.

After downloading the package, let’s set the rights.

sudo chmod 755 xampp-linux-*-installer.run

Start installation

sudo ./xampp-linux-*-installer.run

Start, reboot and stop

sudo /opt/lampp/lampp start
sudo /opt/lampp/lampp restart
sudo /opt/lampp/lampp stop

Launch GUI
